Cult-favorite brand, Sol de Janeiro launched its newest summer scent—the Cheirosa 48 Perfume Mist. This scent features guava, coconut, orchids, and vanilla. It celebrates 1948 when bikinis were first seen on Brazilian beaches. 
 
L Catterton acquired the women’s health brand, Stripes Beauty. Actress Naomi Watts founded the brand. Through this acquisition, Stripes Beauty hopes to expand its presence nationally and globally.
 
L’Oréal announced the winner of the 32nd Brandstorm competition. The PROject team from France won for its wearable device that monitors hairdressers’ posture and hand and wrist movements to help prevent musculoskeletal disorders. 
 
ELC’s New Incubation Ventures launched The Catalyst program with support from TikTok. The program is looking for “fresh visions for the beauty industry.”
